To receive a Security Officers Firearms Permit you must have or obtain a State of Connecticut Pistol Permit.
Additionally you must provide your own or a company handgun and one hundred rounds of ammunition in order to take this course.
NOTE: While on duty as a security officer you will only be authorized to carry the handgun you were trained with.
If you do not have a Connecticut pistol permit, I can provide you with the training and certification to obtain one. If you take my pistol permit course and receive a pistol permit, I will deduct 10% of the fee from the Security Course.

Fee $50 - For each additional handgun after two
there will be a $20 fee.
Only two officers per class
Plan ahead don't wait until it's too late!
You will receive a letter from the CT State Police each year indicating the time frame you will have to re-certify with your handgun(s)
Expect to pay an additional fee of $20 if you request a class date other than the one I have scheduled.

The training will also address the subjects of handgun retention, bullet effectiveness, practicing marksmanship skills effectively on your own, and much more
You will receive personalized instruction throughout the entire training program. You will learn how to shoot accurately with your authorized handgun. I will personally coach you and monitor each and every shot you fire to make certain that you are learning as you shoot.
Upon completion of the course you will receive a certificate of course completion elegantly framed and a personal course outline, also State Police Form DPS1030c to obtain your security officers firearms permit.
